Hi there junior, Well, even though you could decide to enter the world at any time now, we couldn't resist the opportunity of another lake house stay. It was only a little over an hour away, at Little Sebago Lake this time. Your soon-to-be Grandmother and Grandfather Hunt won a week at the lake in a silent auction, but could not use it the first night, so your mom and dad courageously offered to make sure it did not go to waste.
It was rainy for a lot of the time, which gave us a good opportunity to relax and rest, but the sun came out for a while and we went canoeing and swimming, both of which were wonderful. The house has a wide deck overlooking the lake, and at night we could hear the loons calling. It was a short little trip, but we figured we'll take every chance we can get while you are still (relatively!) easy to manage inside of Jess's belly. We expect that soon traveling will be a lot more complicated, so it felt great to just drop everything and take off for a night. All looked just fine at your last doctor's appointment- they say all of Jess's vitals are textbook. What a great mom she is already! Jess is at 38 weeks!
